About Nexora
Built by an accountant, for accountants.
Nexora exists because the person who founded it spent years inside New Zealand public practice, carrying the same deadlines and the same staffing problem, and concluded the answer was better production capacity rather than longer hours.
“Help accounting firms expand their capacity, take the burnout out of the season, and improve their margins — without giving up quality, client relationships, or control of their own practice.”

Ruvy Joseph, CA
Founder & Managing Director
Ruvy is a Chartered Accountant with public practice experience in New Zealand, working across business advisory, statutory taxation, financial reporting and practice compliance.
Having run both the client-facing side of a practice and the production work behind it, Ruvy understands what firm partners are actually worried about when they consider outsourcing: not the hourly rate, but whether the file comes back right, whether the deadline holds, and whether the client ever finds out.
Every quality standard Nexora operates was set with those three questions in mind. Review is not delegated to a checklist alone — a Chartered Accountant signs off the file before it leaves.
Specialisation
Business advisory, statutory tax, financial reporting, practice compliance
Role at Nexora
Final review authority and owner of the quality standard
Seven reasons, none of them “cheap”.
Price is the least interesting thing about an outsourcing relationship. What matters is whether the work holds up under review, and whether it keeps holding up in year three.
01
New Zealand tax depth
GST, provisional tax, imputation credits, shareholder current accounts, trust distributions, look-through companies and residential ring-fencing. NZ conventions, not a generic ledger service with a NZ label.
02
Chartered Accountant leadership
Founded and directed by a CA with New Zealand public practice experience. Firm partners generally trust another qualified practitioner more than they trust a sales team.
03
A structured delivery centre
Our team in India is recruited and trained specifically for New Zealand compliance work, on managed enterprise infrastructure. Not freelancers assembled per job.
04
Multi-tier quality control
Prepared, self-checked against your checklist, then independently reviewed by a senior. Three passes before a file is released.
05
Capacity that flexes
Expand through the annual season and contract afterwards, without carrying the payroll risk of a permanent hire you cannot use in October.
06
Security treated as a first-order concern
Named logins, role-based access, portal-only transfer and immutable audit logs, with the Privacy Act position put in front of you rather than left for you to discover.
07
A relationship that compounds
We invest in learning your templates, your file conventions and your preferences. If year two is not noticeably smoother than year one, we have not done our job.
You manage the client. We help you manage the workload.
New Zealand accounting expertise, delivered by a dedicated accounting team in India, under Chartered Accountant quality control. That is the whole proposition, stated plainly.
What we will never do
- Contact your clients, in any capacity
- Put our name on work you deliver
- Offer advisory services to your client base
- Hold the filing authority or the sign-off
- Use your client data for anything other than your job
What we will always do
- Tell you early when a file is worse than it looked
- Raise queries in one batch rather than a trickle
- Put a CA’s review between our preparer and your desk
- Fix our own errors without billing you for it
